The Central Florida Muzzleloaders are a group of black powder enthusiasts that meet at the Central Florida Rifle and Pistol Club to share the enjoyment of muzzleloading shooting. These interests include not only muzzleloading rifle firing, but also pistol, revolver, smoothbore, and rifled musket. Competition in these categories is a part of the fun but just having an opportunity to safely shoot your muzzleloaders in the company of others who share a common interest is the primary concern.
Another interest shared is the living history aspects of the muzzleloading era, which include rendezvous' (events where the 1840's are depicted in dress and camp life.)
We meet at the Central Florida Rifle and Pistol Club starting in February of each year. Normally we shoot on the third Sunday of each month between the hours of 8:00am and 2:00pm. At times, holidays and range use conflict and it is necessary for the Central Florida Muzzleloaders to change dates. Please call Buffalo Bill's Shooting Store for the updated schedule.
Consider this as an invitation to bring your muzzleloader and share a day of fun at the Central Florida Rifle and Pistol Club. Many of our shooters came to their first event solely to sight in their new muzzleloader in a safe environment, only to find the experience so enjoyable that they returned again and again. The Central Florida Muzzleloaders charge no dues and membership is established by merely attending events.
